Isidor Nasch winning bronze medal at the Paris International Exhibition (The Exposition Universelle of 1889 was a World's Fair held in Paris, France from 6 May to 31 October 1889) . This sewing machine veteran showed considerable pluck in taking his miniature machine, " The Little Rose", to Paris. Highly honoured through exhibiting at the Paris Exhibition, entirely without solicitation he has been created a member of the French Academie Nationale.
